I had to hook up the phone to my car, God forbid I had to learn a new trick. But I did. The first song that came on just about blew the speakers!

A Red Barn Fall

A patchwork of color across the farm land.

The rusty red paint on the barn draws your eye to the brilliant colors behind it.

If you could see this in real time! The colors were at their peak!

The corner farmers, on my road, get it? Corn farmers?

I love where I live.
 God's hand on every corner.
 Showing me the gifts of the seasons.

 

My Drive To Cedar

Picking up cushions for a customer, in Cedar.

Had a few stops along the road to admire the fall spectrum.

Stop, jump out, focus and shoot.

The rain, along the day, made the wet leaves glow with saturated color.

A peaceful place to pause and admire the Maple trees in the full peak of fall brilliance. 

It took me all afternoon, I had to stop and pump gasoline, to drive from Lake Leelanau to Maple City just because the colors of the leaves were so amazing. 

 

Driving Around The County

 

Driving and driving, looking for fall color in the mist of the afternoon rain.

The fresh paint colors on the side of the bicentennial farm caught our eye! 

Still very green along the coast line.

Sugar Loaf ski hill is a ghost of it's former self!

Then we ran and we ran as the black flies chased us off the beach! 

Fun day, we stopped at Carlson's and bought smoked fish, smoked white fish pate, smoked fish sausage and a beautiful salmon for dinner. 

That's not all! We popped into Cedar and bought some fresh hot dogs just out of the smoker. 

Leelanau County is "smoking"!
