Fresh Lake Michigan Whitefish

| Carlson's fishery, in Leland, has fresh Lake Michigan Whitefish. I wrapped the fish in foil with fresh, snip snip, parsley and dill from my garden. |

| Set the table pretty and lit the candles. |
 |
| Gently poached the fish with olive oil and white wine. The fish was so delicious. Served fresh broccoli and cauliflower on the side. |

Hello Fall!!

| Anchor Cottage is decked out for fall. |

| We stacked Cinderella squashes on either side of the door. |
 |
| And filled our metal baskets full of gourds. Fall in the Leelanau Peninsula is beautiful, the leaves turn yellow, orange, red and brown against the blue skies. The Apple trees are full of fruit. The chilly nights make for good sleeping underneath your down comforter with the window cracked open. Think i'll bake an apple pie when I get home from work tonight. |
