Suttons Bay 2012 Holiday Stroll

I have to laugh, I literally bought this bag off the shoulder of one of my customers yesterday!

Steve made fudge last night for the Holiday Stroll this evening.

I cleaned and tidied my store.

I adore my Emma Bridgewater pottery.

I can work it in with antique china and it looks darling.

Filled my urns with pine boughs and dried Hydrangeas.

Steve cut some red sticks for an accent color in the arrangment.

Looks nice for the stroll tonight.

It's going to be a fun night in the village. Dress warm  if you're coming out as it is down right chilly!!

A Double Holiday Celebration

My friend, "Jackie the decorator", brought me this antique apple basket full of apples for my birthday! It was so beautifully arranged that even my husband was impressed.

So I was setting the table for Thanksgiving and realized I did not have a center piece of any sort. I looked over at the 1/2 eaten basket of apples and thought I'd take the gourds off the kitchen window sill and arranged them in the cedar like Jackie did the apples. How pretty is this center piece?

My "new best friend" brought Prosecco and we chilled it in pottery from West Virginia and served it in Art Allison glasses.

I have always had this double holiday celebration of my birthday and Thanksgiving. It's a lot of fun, I'd highly recommend it!

Christmas Open House At Anchor Cottage

I set the table for a nautical Christmas dinner.

I used blue and white toile and nautical charts for the tablecloth.

Green ships lanterns and glass floats for decoration.

Portmeirion Holly & Ivy, Liquid and Mistletoe patterns all mixed together.

It's the 9th annual Christmas Open House at Anchor Cottage. Serving cake and champagne from 12 to 4.
25% off store wide on regular priced merchandise.

Come on down and find some Christmas bargains and have a piece of Strawberry Jello cake.
