Every pin, posted above, has the little something
I could use in my own decor.

The English blue and white plates
hung against the rich ocher wall color.

The blue and white upholstery on the dark wicker with the richly woven pillows.

 The Dominican.

 Blue and white antique stoneware.

 Layers of rich color.

 Fanciful ice cream spoons.

Ideas for a new garage and garden area.

A beautiful blue and white bedroom.

Thank you to all the people that shared their inspirations on pinterest this week.

Sailing Through October Inside Anchor Cottage Freshwater Decor

Nice looking body of rugs from Dash & Albert.

The front table set for a fall lunch carried in from "Martha's Leelanau Table", of course!

The layers that make a whole.

The hurricane lanterns and the sailboat.

Brass and oriental.

The pillows and the duvet cover with Money's snapping turtle.

I could do a room around these colors.

Getting cozy in "baby world".

Soft cotton, cable knit one piece.

Something for the baby girls.

Cozy robes from Pine Cone Hill.

How many shades of blue are there?

I can't get enough of English china.

Blue and white plates made in England.

This time of year there is always a "sale" table.

At 50% off you are ready
for next summer at the cottage.

It's about being round.

Foxcroft blouses are 20% off.

Add some orange Bittersweet
for an October table setting.

A glance through the store.

Birds in the tree top.

Taking it easy in the highchair.

A glance back through the store the other way.

Come down and go shopping
 on these beautiful fall days.

Life's Little Rewards

Walking in the garden this morning,
 under a dark sky.

One of our Sunflowers had fallen over, from the weight of the rain, crushing the Peace Rose bush.

Clip clip, snatching a fellow Delphinium, does the trick.
"Fall"-en roses on the window sill.

Seduced By Sunday's Solitude

A still offshore breeze made for
gentle lapping sounds of the water.

A peek of sunshine from behind the clouds.

Everything was so still.

Catching a Sunday nap at the beach.

Drama as the clouds come passing by.

Following the shoreline for as far as I can see.

Every layer of perspective caught.

The brightness makes us stay our ground.

As the clouds move back toward
us we received a few sprinkles.

A Cheese Shop Sandwich devoured under a beach towel tent.

Ready to pack it up.

Hats off to the cloud formations.

Parading along the shoreline.

We were the only ones left on the beach.
