Jayco Accommodations

Steve, my love, rehabbed this trailer in record time!

Last fall we had taken everything out of the trailer and washed it down. We used Bin to prime the interior and then painted it Sherwin Williams Dover White.

By this time it was looking do-able. So Steve tore the carpet out and re carpeted it with a beautiful wool rug from Jackie the decorator.

He hooked up running water.

The refrigerator has a nice size freezer.

Two days to go and I covered the bench cushions with pirate fabric for fun.

Vacuumed and re-installed the kitchen table.

Everyone in the family was helping!

The settee and chairs were found along the roadside and the table was free. I love the green and white exterior that Steve decided on.

One day to go before the guys arrived and I sewed red checked curtains for the windows.

Surprisingly enough there is plenty of room to bunk. Steve and I tried it out and it was super comfortable.

The morning of the arrival and I quick hooked up the Fisher cd player and Braun coffee pot. Steve brought cable to the tv. It is a sweet little place in the woods for a couple nights lodging.

If and when we have the chance we would like to make a few more modifications to the interior. We are thinking of taking out the benches and table and replacing them with two chairs and a smaller table which would allow easier access for making the bed.

Wish I could get Steve enthused about taking the Jayco on the road. Oh well, another story!
