I love seeing my customers homes and the way they translate their character onto their home. As though they give themselves to the walls and furnishings.

All The Presents Are Wrapped

This year I wrapped presents in Caspari red and green papers and  ribbons in yellow or white with fun tags displayed on a John Robshaw runner from Anchor Cottage. Merry Christmas!

Going To Some Parties

Made out at Bahle's Department store. I bought new jeans, sweater, socks, shoes and jacket to wear to the holiday parties:) In northern Michigan I just can't fathom wearing anything dresser! Jeans and a sweater to keep me warm on a cold winters evening out.

Working On An Interior Color Scheme For Next Season

I am leaning toward this blue

with this rich green

and pure white for the inside of the store. I always try and change the palette of the store before I go on my buying trip.

Dinner After Thanksgiving

Dinner in a pumpkin. Pilgrim style! My sister-in-law made this "pudding" it reminded me of what the Indians offered the Pilgrims for Thanksgiving dinner. Grains, beans, corn, garlic and I don't know where the Indians found the dried mango, but it was in there as well!
