I love the idea of having a flower shop
out on the street side for impulse buys. Who doesn't like to buy something green for their space?
If I owned this chambray dress I would wear it all the time.
Pale and refreshing, blue stone and wall stencils, papers and natural wood finish detail combined.
Always a pop of red and an inspiration from Bunny Williams.

These are the sources for my imagination today.

Awaiting Christmas In The Holler

Love the luscious cranberry red.
The Holler is slowly becoming festive this holiday.

The old runner, from Berea, has been around for fifty Christmases.

Moss in a wood bowl, driftwood and beach stones, Catherine brought me roses and mums.

Three more days till Christmas comes!

I can't wait till Christmas Day!!

Other than that, I need a project to work on.
I would like to bring these shaded blues into a room
that has a ton of natural light with sea grass rugs on the floor
and an element of "formal cottage" in the decor!

Sunday Down In The Holler

Decorating the tree this morning
in the pouring rain and thunder!

The Sago Palm is one of Steve's Christmas presents

Two out of six Amaryllis blooming.

The plants seem to like these low light/damp days.

This Amaryllis has a gigantic bud.

I love the red toile tablecloth under the tree. I ordered this from Dunroven's House back in the days of the old shop and have used it in so many displays and table settings. I throw it in the washer and dryer and don't even iron it!

Making room for unexpected guests next to the fireplace.

Cozy, cozy.

"Harbor Slip" or "At Anchor"
are some of the names on the list.
500 sq ft all in one space.
"Harbor Slip" will have a small galley kitchen with open shelves and maple counter tops. Steve has some ancient tractor seats out in the shed that he will build kitchen bar stools out of!
Painted paneled walls and detailed window treatments will pull the one room unit together.
The smaller the bed footprint the better, thinking an iron headboard attached to a queen hollywood bed frame would take up the least space. Maybe a tiny little conservatory will expand the sitting area.

Thinking thinking thinking...the architect brought the finished floor plans over today and I can't stop imagining the finished design.

Enjoy your weekend!

This Time Of Year

There are only twenty five more days of retail this year!

Then I blow it all out so I don't have to pay Uncle Sam income tax on the inventory that is left.

So I take all the remaining pieces and make a sweet vignette to try and move the last of the 2015 merchandise.

Add some flags to the grapevine wreath for an Americana decor.

Pull it all together for one last sale.

Come in and take advantage of the discounts on the remaining home decor, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Think of it as my Christmas present to all you loyal customers.

Merry Christmas to you!

One of a pair french chair!

Corbels from Georgia.

Every day this group grows smaller.

Sold the napkins yesterday.

Only a few packages left.

This Advent Calendar reminds me of Bunny Williams.

This table is for Eddie Ross! Enjoy the holidays babe!

Found the Rose Poinsettias at Plant Masters, of Suttons Bay.

Elegant, Limoges, Four Seasons plates.

Still warm from Georgia.

Let me catch my breath!! Finished working in all the new pieces from my buying trip this fall. The truck was so full that when Steve stepped on the brakes, hard, nothing moved!!

Please come in and have a stroll around.
