Coral & Chocolate Brown

This is the third Pine Cone Hill duvet and sham set that I have sold off this bed in a week!!

Normally I have to change out the bedding accessories when I sell parts of the bedding. As luck would have it, the chocolate and coral pillows, lamps and table decor have worked with all three duvets and shams.

Happy hump day!

A Little Bit Of Everything!

Anchor Cottage Freshwater Decor has a little bit of everything to decorate your cabin or cottage.

The Emma Bridgewater pottery is 25% off this week.

Kate Spade made her way into the store this summer, with signature pink, black and acrylic desk top accessories.

This pair, of nautical lamps, in a contemporary Lake Michigan home would be sharp.

We have so many fun and unique rugs in stock.

I love the soft coral in the rug and pillow.

Coral, chocolate brown and gold for added bling.

We even have accessories to decorate your boat.

These pillows can stay up on deck! There are made of polypropylene with poly inserts.

The "captain's" table.

Fun art for the knotty cedar walls in your cabin.

Porch pillows, heavy canvas with down feather stuffing, very cushy.

Come in, shop around and have some fun just browsing.

On The Way To Empire

On the way to the Empire Bluff Trail we stopped at the darling Red Gate Farm. We bought flowers and strawberries, jam and granola. Then headed over to Inspiration Point.
As we cruised our way through the tiny village we stopped at Sleeping Bear Gallery. Doesn't this bronze sculpture have good detail?

We climbed and we climbed, almost a mile up the path, to the top of the bluffs. South of the Sleeping Bear Dunes looking north out over Lake Michigan. The view is spectacular.

All that climbing made us thirsty so we headed to Art's Tavern for a beer to wet our whistle and on the way over we did a double take! Jimmy's Pot Heads!! We thought that was hilarious.
The day was rather misty in the distance so the breathtaking views were not as distinct as I would have liked. This view is all the way to Traverse City from central Leelanau County. It's a well kept secret, let me know if you can recognize it.

We made it home and grilled Cedar Hot Dogs and made samores. They were the best Cedar dogs I have ever had! Must have been the company.

I slept like a log that night.
