See Anything Different?

Anchor Cottage Freshwater Decor is in her 11th season!

Every girl likes to change 'er up a bit every now and then.
I called the painter and had him give her some eyeliner in Licorice!

I am digging this coral color, if I wore lipstick this would be the color.

I think the metal flowers need to come off the wall, too busy and out of context with the nautical theme.

See my special gift?

He put my Uwharrie chairs together.

SRS Painting.

A view of the crew from the rear.

I want more of these Tulips, they are so perky.

These Uwharrie chairs are so comfortable to sit on. They come in 29 colors and 21 design styles. This pair is in the Fanback collection and the color is Coral.

Another beautiful day on the Leelanau Peninsula.

Before They Run Out The Door

Dana Gibson Lamps!!

I needed to take these photos before I worked the lamps into the store because I don't think they're going to stick around for long!

I will be bringing in more of her pieces this season. In the meantime you can go to http://www.danagibson.com/ to take a look at her body of work. There are some really great lamps in her collection.

Hoot's Holler Front Row Seating

One of my favorite down time spaces.

In the morning, after work and during yard chores this is a comfortable place to sit.

If You Guess Alaska In May, You're Wrong!!

Where in the heck are we on this 4th day of May?

If you've guessed Alaska, you are incorrect!

Infinite view of an ice field.

On Lake Michigan.

Christmas Cove to be exact!
I'd say the name fits the bill, but it is, truly, May 4th, 2014.

So tempting to stick my hand in the water to pick up stones.

Did you see that fish?

So I stuck my hand in!

I guess I will wait to gather rocks another time.

It did not feel cold with the sun reflected off the ice!!

The clouds moved in and I moved on. It's cold now!

The sun reflecting off the ice was so amazing. It felt as if I were standing in the center of a crystal.

Thank you, Mother Nature, for another one of your spectacular displays.
