We are having so much rain here on the Leelanau Peninsula this June. Our Forrest, here at Hoot's Holler, looks like a jungle! My husband built this log home 25 years ago. He was a young pup:) He hung a block in a tree and would tie one end of the rope to a log and the other end of the rope was tied to his Vega, then he'd drive up his driveway until the log was where he wanted to place it and he'd drop it down in place and go get another log. His middle name is not Lincoln.
