Heading toward the Great Smoky Mountains.
We drive up the highway...
...and down the highway...
...up...
...down...
...back and forth around the switchbacks...
...everybody was getting down and driving it...
...past the Redbud trees...
...past the Shale and Granite...
...past the waterfalls...
...narrow gorges with claustrophobic rock outcroppings...
...in and out of tunnels...
...on our way to Otto.
We found it! Biggest load of stuff, can't miss it ( I have ever seen), five hundred feet of stacks of salvage along the road.
I never have enough time or a large enough vehicle, when I show up at this place, to haul away the treasures.
There are three floors to search out treasures for the discerning eye. The old adage, "one man's trash is another man's treasure" amply applies to this spot.
